Chase School had a major problem with their underfloor heating in the main hall, and it had to be decommissioned from their existing boiler system.

As ACRS had previously installed an air2air heat pump facility for the school, we were approached by their heating services company to see if we could help provide an appropriate alternative.

Following a site survey, our recommended low carbon solution was the installation of 4 x Fulitsu 9.5Kw wall units, with 2 units installed on either side of the hall at a ligh level.

The units were connected to the previously installed air heat pumps, and would provide comfortable heating and cooling as required.

The units are controlled by a computerised app enabling the caretaker to provide the optimum temperature depending on the season.

The installation was very successful enabling the school to continue the numerous activities in the hall, including assemblies, sporting activities and full use of the stage itself.
