This is a full-time remote role for a Refrigeration Engineer.

The Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, mechanical engineering, and providing customer service:

To carry out repairs on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment.
Repairs and maintenance to cold rooms, chillers, wine cellars, serve over counters, commercial refrigeration equipment, occasional larger domestic fridges.
To carry out maintenance and leak testing on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment.
To be on call 1 in every 5 to 6 weeks depending on staff employed at the time.
To be responsible for van stock and liaising with office staff and line manager on stock requirements when levels low.

Health and Safety awareness

Lone working and being responsible for customer premises sometimes if key provided.
Completing job sheets, time sheets and risk assessments electronically.
To be smart and tidy and wear appropriate Company clothing and PPE.

Qualifications

3 to 4 years experience within the Refrigeration industry carrying out breakdown repairs.
Hold an NVQ 2 or higher in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (not essential)
Hold an F-GAS Cat 2 (essential)
Driving Licence
IPAF (not essential, can be processed during employment)
DBS check (not essential, can be processed during employment)

Remuneration

Basic Salary circa 38k to 48k dependent on experience.
Rosta on call payment.
Overtime.
Van and tablet.
31 days holiday including bank holidays.
